The entire method of attaching IceGrips® to your footwear has been greatly improved and is even more stable and secure.

IceGrips® are designed for people who spend most of their time working outside or take long winter walks in rough terrain because... while they're not difficult to put on and take off... it takes a little more time to do so.
If you're constantly going in and out you should consider another ice cleat model... like Grip-X Ice Cleats or AltraGrips Lite Ice Cleats... that are quicker to put on and remove.

The method IceGrips uses to attach to your shoes and boots is a tremendous advantage for you because they're not going to come off or slip out of place no matter how deep the snow or how bad the wintery conditions. The straps are replaceable extending the life of the ice cleats. There is also a Bulky Boot Strap to it fits over a wider range of footwear.

Traction on uneven surfaces has been improved because...
- The sole of the new IceGrips Ice Cleats is even more flexible to conform to uneven surfaces and remains flexible at temperatures as low a -20° F.
- The probability that a spike comes in contact with the ice has increased because 22 tungsten carbide studs (for a total of 44 studs) are now interspersed throughout both the perimeter and interior of each ice cleat.

Snow, slush and mud won't cake up on the bottom of your shoes as with other brands because of Jordan David's patented self-cleaning Angle Tread® design.
The treads widen and deepen from the instep to the outer edge. When you take a step the design expels snow, slush and mud the same way an ice cube tray expels
ice cubes when you twist it.

You get better traction using IceGrips® than with competing ice cleats because of the way the tread is designed. Did you ever notice how your shoes wear on an angle? That's because your weight is on your foot's metatarsal bones. The Angle Tread® design ingeniously aligns the tread with your metatarsal bones placing your weight directly on the tread.
You can safely climb a ladder with IceGrips® because there's a 2 inch cleat free arch... so there's no slippery metal to metal contact on the rungs...
and a ½" heel to make climbing a lot safer.

The IceGrips base is a solid sandal so there's absolutely no stretching involved. The style of the boot therefore is important when considering the right size IceGrips. If you want to know the best size to fit your particular boots, measure the the length of the bottom of the boot from the bottom of the heel to the the tip. Choose theIceGrip size where your boot's length falls in the ranges shown below..
